| Anti-inflammatory:
I had been on many for my neck injury pre-RSD. Too numerous to mention.
Most were helpful but all caused severe stomach problems for me.
Celebrex does not-it was manufactured for this purpose. Trish
Pennsylvania, USA
I have been taking Viox since Oct. 2000; this is an anti- inflammatory, which has not given me as much relief as they advertise. I only eat one meal a day and taking this med you have to eat or you get major stomach pain. I did. Some people may be different. The doctor increased the dose to 50 mg. but I didn't see any change so I asked to be changed to another drug named Celebrex. The doctor disagreed, saying that the if viox did not help Celebrex would not either. I have heard that many other RSD suffers find dramatic response to Celebrex. Amanda - USA I started taking Celebrex 8 weeks ago for osteo-arthritis in
my shoulders and neck, and although it has NOT touched the RSD
pain at all, it has given a quite definite positive effect on
the mobility of my neck and shoulders - which makes it easier
to move without aggravating the RSD affected parts any more than
they have to be. Link to Lancet page on Celebrex, or Celecoxib |
