Anti-depressants I have taken:- Effexor (Venlafaxine HCL), Paxil (Paroxetine HCL), Zololf (Sertraline), Celexa (citalopram hydrobromide), Prozac (Fluoxetine HCL), Wellbutrin (Bupropion HCL) and Elavil (Amitriptyline HCL). I have even taken Buspar (Buspirone HCL) and Xanax (Alprazolam) which technically are anti-anxiety meds). Of this list the only one that I have had BAD adverse reactions to is Elavil. I have had RSD since 12-01. I have been very depressed since then, with the pain getting so bad, suicide was almost always in my thoughts. I was put on almost all of the antidepression meds there were, but finally they put me on Celexa and it is the one that works best for me. If all else fells try Celexa. I feel better than I have in a long time. Pain is still there, but the bad thoughts are gone. Good luck, may God bless you, and may you be pain free this new year! Angelia - Jupiter, USA
