I was on Darvocet from June 2000 to April 2001. The doctor finally took me off of it after I complained that it did not work I was taking approx 8- 18 pills a day with no relief. The doctor said several times that I need to stop taking so many because I was going to damage my liver, even after him telling me he would write me another RX. This I did not understand I was taking it for so long my body had adjusted to it, and as the pain became more intense it would provide no relief. Amanda - USA I have been on Darvocet for about 2 months now. I have very bad migraines, and at first, this was the only relief I could find. Now, when I get a migraine, I get no relief unless I take two at the onset. I'm worried about the liver damage, and I find myself wondering if I could possibly be getting addicted to them. I've never been addicted to anything before, but I know that when I feel the slightest "twinge" in my head now, I reach for the Darvocet. When I have these migraines, I cannot function. I have to sleep them off, or take the Darvocet! Amy - USA |
