I had the Lidocaine infusion. I have had a 70% reduction in pain and have been having the treatment 2 monthsto date and counting. I have had no problems to talk about while the infusion was being performed. I wanted to sleep during my stay but I had nowhere to go so I enjoyed the quiet time. It was a time when I could sleep. My side effects were slight nausea and headaches but not much else. They were so slight I hardly need to mention. I remain on oral lidocaine for maintenance and I may need another infusion in the future. Ketamine is just around the corner and the hope for remission is greater. Iam open to others who need information. Please contact me at ekrunner@optonline.net. Good luck to all in a search for remission. Eileen - USA I have started using the Lidocaine (Lidoderm) Patches because of a suggestion by one of the physicians I work for. I have RSD in my left arm and is now moving into the left side of my back. I have severe flare-ups everytime the weather changes (ie; rain, Santa Ana's, humidity). We put the patch so that the edge is just to the left of my spinal cord. I have noticed a difference in the degree of pain. It gets me through the day. I also combine it with Tordal (injected), Celebrex and Ultracet. I've found it to be a lot better then taking the daily medications (Keppra, Gabitril, etc) that make you mentally dysfunctional and nauseated. Debbie - Carlsbad, California, USA |
