| I have been taking Naprosyn (Roche generic) for 2 months. I was prescribed them as a replacement for Voltarol which has caused stomach upset. The Naprosyn worked fine with no side effects until my latest batch came as Naproxen rather than the Roche Naprosyn. I had a violent allergic reaction caused by the 'E' colourings in the Naproxen (sunset yellows, E110 and E104) and have now gone back to the original Roche brand which does not contain these colourings. My pharmacist was not pleased as he informed me that Naprosyn costs many times that of the Naproxen dirivitives which only cost £0.90! It's worth remembering that its not always the drug that causes a side effect but the colourings added to them. Di - Dorking, Surrey, UK | |
