Seroquel

Description
Seroquel (quetiapine fumarate) is a dibenzothiazepine derivative classed as a psychotropic agent. It is provided in the form of white to off-white crystalline semi-suluble powder or as round tablets (25 mg peach, 100 mg yellow, 200 mg white) or capsule-shaped tablets 300 mg white. We have reports of it being prescribed to RSD patients. Please tell us if you have RSD and have been prescribed this medication
Side effects

(Don't be unduly alarmed. All drugs cause side effects for some patients)

Abdominal pain, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, light headedness, sore throat, sudden drop in blood pressure when standing, upset stomach, weakness, weight gain. There have also been reports of elevated blood sugar (special risk for diabetics).
Warnings

(These are standard cautions but may not apply in your case)

Avoid this drug if you may be pregnant or are breastfeeding. Do not drink alcohol while taking a course or treatment with this drug. If you develop symptoms of elevated blood sugar or diabetes including excessive thirst, increased urination, overeating, or weakness, contact your doctor.
