|
Description |
Viagra is among the best-known drugs of today, because of its high-prifile marketing as a remedy for male erectile dysfunction. However, it is also used to combat hypertension and one study identified it as a treatment for Reynaud's phenomenon (a condition that is sometimes linked with RSD/CRPS). The official (non-proprietary) name for this drug is Sildenafil citrate. |
Side effects(Don't be unduly alarmed. All drugs cause side effects for some patients) |
Side effects include blurred vision, dyspepsia, flushing, hypotension, headache, sneezing, prolonged erections, palpitations and photophobia. It has sometimes been implicated in stroke events. |
Warnings(These are standard cautions but may not apply in your case) |
BEWARE OF SUBSTITUTES; with its popularity as a recreational drug it has attracted fraudsters into the market. Use only as prescribed by your doctor. Risky if used by patients with heart conditions, low blood pressure or a history of strokes. |

| My doctor put me on 100mg Viagra 4 times a day for RSD pain. I thought my doctor was nuts! But I have tried everything else. But believe it or not it helps a good bit, mainly with the pain in the arms for now. I hope it help in the legs. The drug 1/2 life (I think thats what they call it) is only 4 hours but you can't take more than 4 a day and it really only give great help from 1/2 hour after you take and only last for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. But I will take that. My doctor says that they have a slow release formula of this that should work over a 36 hour period Cialis is what I think it is called. I think I have tried all the drugs on the list. I get my SCS trail May 10 I hope it helps some. My RSD is spreading so fast since my nerve block that didn't work. Tim - Ohio, USA | |
