Zoloft is excellent in my case. I have been on it since Aug. 2000, and at first it did not seem to help, so I was switched to Trazadone. But after going back to Zoloft it has done wonders. It takes about 2- 3 weeks to see any results, but I feel it is worth the wait. Amanda - USA I recently suffered what I would consider to be a nervous breakdown, accompanied with severe anxiety and panic attacks and depression. I was put on low dose of Zoloft in the AM and Trazadone in the PM 2 weeks ago. The panic and anxiety attacks are pretty much gone, but I am still depressed, and have been only able to sleep 2 or 3 hours a night. I also have had numerous periods of dry vomiting, but the asthma attacks I have had virtually every day of my life are not as severe or as frequent (53 years). I have no idea if what is happening is due to drug interaction or not but, as I am near the point of total exhaustion, the panic attacks have stopped, and the drugs are doing nothing for the depression, maybe it is time to get off them.
