Patients Association (UK)

This organisation seeks to bring about improvements in the British National Health system and is actively asking people to let them know of problems, for instance, waiting times. This is what they say about themselves -

The Patients Association Helpline is there to help you help yourself.

If you need advice on problems relating to health and healthcare, or you need to talk to someone about your experiences, please call us. If we can't give you the advice you need, we shall certainly let you know where to look.

You can call the number five days a week from Monday to Friday between the hours of 10.00 and 4.00pm and your call will be answered by a trained volunteer. If you ring outside these hours you can still leave a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

The Helpline is one of the most important aspects of the Patients Association's work and we receive a large number of calls on a wide variety of issues.
