Fentanyl warning. US authorities issued a warning on 15 July folowing reports of fatalities among users of Fentanyl. For more details of this medication go to our Fentanyl page.
RSD Disease Code. "In 1993, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy was officially recognized as a disorder and given a code number with the International Category of Diseases (ICD-9 code 337.2). Each time a diagnosis of RSD is made, this code number should be used by the physician. We advise patients to ask their doctors to put this code on their medical records. Statistics, such as 'number of new cases each year', are collected from this code identification. This information, called the Epidemiology, is very important in attempting to get recognition or funding for a disease. Because of the ICD-9 Code number, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy will continue to have a place in medical literature." And on to number 6. The RSD UK 5th Annual Conference is just over, end very successsful it was. Now it's time to begin thinking about next year! The 6th annual conference will be held on 17th September 2005 at the Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield, Yorkshire.

UK Online Support Forum. RSD UK provides an online support forum for UK sufferers and their families. It replaces the former RSD-UK Yahoo group and is be for UK sufferers only. It is a subscription only group with an annual fee of £12. However those who attend the RSD UK annual conference will get a £5 discount per membership from their conference fees. Payment of
membership fees will be required during the first 30 days of subscribing. Easy payment terms available, ask for details.
