Using Topomax to control the shakes

From Kathy - North Carolina, USA

Hi I love the info you have in your site. I have had RSD/CRPS for 10 years and have a long story of doctors that gave me the run around till it was to late. It took 7 years to find a doctor that would treat me and tell me what I had. Mine started in my left hip and is now moving to my right side. It moved down my leg to my foot and is now up my whole left side. In the last few weeks I developed a new problem of shaking all over... it's like being on a vibrating bed. My Doctor said that they some times see this problem, which is hyperactivity in the nervous system due to the RSD/CRPS. However. It is mostly MS patients who suffer this symptom. My doctor told me to get the word out, which is the main reason I am writing you. The treatment for this is TOPAMAX, but it takes awhile to get working. Believe me it does help, so please let the folks know about this.
Thanks for sharing that information, Kathy
