I notice that a lot of RSD sufferers have problems with an unexplained rash. I have had RSD/CRPS for 11 years now. I have lower body RSD (waist down) and know the rash well. Usually if one leg hurts more than the other then the rash will come on the "good" leg - so it won't be lonesome not having RSD problems!
I have used all kinds of creams, cortisone etc. then I read on an RSD website that some doctors. were having pharmacies making up a cream. The person wrote the ingredients down and I asked my pain doctor about it. He had the tubes right in his office but never told me about it, even though I had complained about the rash. Sometimes you have to be your own doctor! It's made in a compound pharmacy and the constituents are listed as KETOP/AMITRIP/CARBAM/LIDOC 10% PLO Gel. I hope this helps others as it has helped me.
