Some RSD medications (for example Amiltriptyline) leave you with a dry yukky mouth and I got this mouthwash recipe from Queen Elizabeth Hospital to help with this problem. It dissolves away mucous secretions and helps also to neutralise acids in the mouth.
In a container (margarine, sour cream, whatever) put equal quantities
of salt and bicarbonate of soda powders. Mix well and keep it well sealed.
Keep it somewhere convenient.
When the mouthwash is required, dissolve 1 teaspoonful of the mixture
in a glass of very warm water.
Rinse vigorously around the mouth as often as you wish.
