The support given by the water is likely to help many people. Best of all, it encourages you to exercise, which is an important aspect of getting the RSD limb back into use. (Ed)

RSD and Swimming Pools

My wife has RSD in the right wrist; we have a pool and live in Texas
The pool seems to provide complete relief while in the pool and an hour or so after she is out of the pool

Conditions required to provide relief include: sun is out and the pool is above 82
When the sun is not out the relief is all most nil, or if the water temp is low.

Our eye doctor has a friend in Illinois that has RSD in both ankles and told of relief in his pool as well.

This is not a cure but seems to provide a couple of painless hours.

Does anyone out there have any information on this???
